After the graduation ceremony, we gathered in Medrus Mawr and celebrated the success of our students. We also awarded prizes for the following categories.
Best CS39440 Major Project - shared between Lawrence Hall (pictured) and Adrian Debski - this is awarded to the project(s) with the highest mark for the 40-credit Major Project. This year, two students shared the prize. Lawrence was presented with his prize at the event, and we will send Adrian his prize.
Best CS39930 Web-based Major Project - Oliver Hoad - this is awarded to the project with the highest mark for the Web-based Major Projects for students taking either a Business Information Technology degree or a Web Development degree.
Highest Integrated Masters Mark - Kat Ash - this is awarded for the highest degree mark for students on the Integrated Masters schemes (MComp and MEng).
Highest BEng and BSc Mark - shared between Cyrus Castle and Sebastian Sogan - this is awarded to the students with the highest mark on either BEng or BSc degree schemes.
Infinity Prize (awarded by the Department of Physics) - Tomos Fearn - this is an award for making significant contributions in promoting science to the community.
We also presented three Highly Commended awards for students on the CS39940 Major Project module. These were presented to Cyrus Castle and Sebastian Sogan and Julia Drozdz
