Exam
This module has an exam in the Semester exam period. A link to the timetable will be provided here when it is avaialble later in the term.
Term-time assessment
The following items are listed in the order they are submitted.
Worksheets
The 5 practical worksheets are released during the first five weeks of term. You normally have up to one week to complete the worksheet - i.e. from the practical session when it is released until the equivalent one the following week. For example, if your weekly practical session is on Thursday, then a Practical Worksheet handed out on Thu 19th October must be signed-off by the end of your workshop on Thursday 26th October.
The Practical Worksheets start in week beginning Mon, 2nd Oct 2023. Get your work signed-off, as described above. Your final Practical Worksheet will be signed off at allotted times, week beginning Mon, 6th Nov 2023.
Feedback provided in the workshop when you get this signed-off.
Assignment
Release date: Mon, 13th Nov 2023
Submission date: Mon, 11th Dec 2023
Type of submission: Blackboard Assignment
Feedback date: Tue, 23rd Jan 2024
Feedback is slightly longer than the usual 15 days, due to the need to moderate the marks from the different assignment groups.
Timeline
The following chart shows the timeline for the term-time assessment in this module. Please note that the timeline does not show the date for the exam.
About Feedback Dates
The provisional feedback date is normally 15 working days after the date of hand-in for the assessment.
If there is expected to be a delay on the feedback, you will be notified by email and the date on this page
should be updated. The date for feedback might also be more than 15 working days if the University is
closed during that time, e.g. during part of the vacation or if the marker has some planned annual leave. The length of time might also be longer if the
marking period includes necessary maintenance of Blackboard/TurnItIn (planned or unplanned) during the
marking period.
