Introduction

This document discusses the following topics.

• Project Suggestions - A description of how staff project suggestions are handled and the process to follow if you would like to suggest a project topic.

• Project Shortlist - A definition of the shortlist and a description of how it used.

• Project Bids - A descripiton of the process to indicate which projects you want to bid for in the project allocation process.

• Project Allocations - An outline of how the bids are processed and how project allocations are confirmed.

• Timetable - A summary of the planned dates for stages in this process.

• General Comments - A set of general notes about this process, including advice on selecting projects to Bid for.

The allocation process takes place during Semester 1 with the aim of everyone being ready to start work as soon as the teaching in Semester 2 starts.
