7.1. Process

This section describes the following information.

  1. The process to arrange the demonstrations

  2. The location of demonstrations

  3. The timing for the demonstrations

Arranging Demonstrations

The following process will be used to allocate you to a demonstration slot.

Step 1: Availability

A few weeks before the given demonstration period, you will be asked to complete a form to indicate your availability. The form will be available on the MMP website - check your emails for details about when it is available.

Whilst we know what your lecture timetable is, we don’t know of any other commitments you might have, e.g. demonstrating or job interviews.

Step 2: Preparing the timetable

Once the availability information has been entered, the Module Coordinator will prepare a timetable.

Step 3: Draft timetable

A first draft will be shared for review via the MMP website. This will be provisional. It is an opportunity to highlight any issues before we confirm the timetable.

Step 4: Final timetable

The final timetable will then be released. Your demonstration slot will be listed on the MMP website.

Location of the demonstrations

The demonstrations will take place in-person on campus. Rooms will be arranged.

Timing of demonstrations

Mid-Project Demonstrations will take place in Week 7.

The Final Demonstrations will take place during the Exam Period for Semester 2.

The general dates are listed on the Assessment Dates website. We will allocate you a specific time, following the process described above.

It is important that you keep these dates available.
